Comfortable and efficient

Comfortable hotel, impeccably clean and efficient staff. Breakfast is not brilliant but is enough to get you going for the day. Nice area to take a walk. Lobby bar is comfortable and all the necessary health checks are in operation and visible.

I visited the hotel multiple times, the hotel is a nice hotel, nice location I liked the Ukrainian décor in the restaurant there. The songs and the style. The city itself is not touristic ,many factories and pollution ,bad roads mainly holes and pot-holes .For two days visit is enough

Renovated hotel in the centre of the city. Very convenient location and good atmosphere. Friendly staff with 24h desk. Instant check in even at late evening. Cleanness is good but could be improved.((

It was home for a month

I spent a little more than a month living in the Intourist, and so got to know the hotel and the people who work there a little more closely than if I had only stayed a day or two. It came to feel like home, and I would happily stay there again. My junior suite overlooked the nearby square and was quite spacious, pleasant and light. The bathroom was large and had both tub and shower. Breakfast was varied and excellent, with something for every taste. Seeing it over a month, I realized that the chefs varied the cooked offerings, although some things were standard like juice, cold meats and vegetables, pastries, and porridge. While I stayed there, I had my laundry done several times, dropping it off in the morning and coming back in the afternoon to find my clean clothes hanging in my room. The price was reasonable and the cleaning was done well. I also got my hair cut in the beauty salon, and was pleased with the results. There is a spa as well, but I did not have time to visit it as we were so busy. Zaporizhia has many nice restaurants, many of them a short walk away down the main street, and some far enough away to require a taxi, which the front desk staff will call for you, letting you know how much your trip will cost. The Ukrainian restaurant in the hotel is well worth visiting. I ate there a number of times and was happy with the food and the pleasant service. I highly recommend the hotel, which came to feel like home to me.

Could be much better !

Hotel centrally located in this strange city. Reception staff were friendly. All was explained to us regarding bars, restaurants etc. We had booked a suite, so room was large and with a well working air condition. Negative point was a carton of a champagne bottle left behin the curtains. Cleaning staff should have noticed that. Terrible however is the Ukrainian Restaurant in the hotel. Food was good, but service was below and acceptance. Servicing staff do not speka a word of english. Starter and main dish arrived together, but the wine only when we finished the meal. Even with a very basic knowledge of gastronony one knows that this is not acceptable.

Clean, comfortable, and good staff

It’s a reasonably-priced hotel in a good location. The A/C unit worked much better after I cleaned the intake filter (I don’t think it had ever been cleaned) and the room was nicely chilled after. Would stay there again.

Wonderful hotel!

The hotel is very good located. Room was small but bed was very comfortable and the view was fantastic!! I will upload some photos here. Breakfast was tipical Ukrainian and was so interesting for me. Very tasty! I also had a dinner in the lobby bar/restaurant and all food was prepared great. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. I would visit this hotel again in future. Thank you!

Service Beyond Bad

The hotel itself is probably a 3.5 star rating however in this particular moment they are receiving a one star rating because when I called room service the staff member on duty continue to disconnect the call. I contacted the room service number 700 four times and each time they rudely disconnected the call. The staff should not work in the service industry if they are unable to treat paying guests with respect. Reception staff is nice. Hopefully this is an isolated issue. If it is the staff needs to be retrained or terminated.

Wonderful hospitality

The Intourist hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are enormous and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is filled with delicious options. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. And the location of the hotel is central. Stroll down the boulevard to the market and the park with the fountain. Zap is lovely.

Good service in a grey town

Having stayed several times at this hotel its time for review. I am giving this hotel a Very Good rating despite it is relatively old, facilites are outdated and the beds are not the best - I do however, relate the rating to the price. The hotel is very good priced and the employees are always smiling. This is for sure not a hotel if you are going for a vacation, but mainly a place to stay if you need to visit the town. I will for sure come back to this hotel next time I will be in town.
