Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine

feels like home!

Jan 3, 2019

Just returned from there today's morning. This place is amazing in sooo many ways! Booking ranks it currently as 9.6, and yes, believe it! This place is a bit far away from Bukovel, but it's worth it. It is quiet and homie, and absolutely adorable people there! Breakfasts and dinners are truly local! If you want to know what is original Hutsul food - stay here. All four days different food. The lady serving it - truly charming! The host also served local drinks so that we can try what they drink. And for the New Year we got free champagne! Food is plenty, yes, a bit heavy, but after a day of skiing - exactly what is needed. They have TV in all rooms and also quick Wi-Fi. Design is wood mostly, really cozy. The host can also give you a ride to Bukovel, and this will be much lower than the price at the center of the village. They also have canned mushrooms and veggies for sale. Try that, yummie! :) Overall, recommended strongly for those who do not go to apres-ski and all that after skiing. Quiet nice place with fabulous people. This is the people with whom I am really proud to share the same nationality. The salt of the earth, as they say. Also recommended if you travel in a company of some 10 people. But arrange in advance, this place is already very well known among Ukrainians from all over the country :)
