Overpriced

The place is totally not worth the money. We were staying there for 6 days, and with each day were getting just more and more disappointed. The rooms were hardly cleaned, with spider webs and dust everywhere. The heating was hardly working, so when it got colder outside, it was hardly warm in the room. The WiFi barely worked, if worked at all. The kitchen is very small, old and dirty - it’s like 2*3 meters and it’s not only for the house it is located in (which holds 8-12 people), but for another house like that also. While booking, we were also promised a decent place to eat, which appeared to be a part of the sauna, so we could only use the table when the sauna was not in use. As for the sauna, by the phone the owner said it’s free for the residents of the hotel, but then it appeared to be a lie. Moreover, the price for the sauna was extremely high - even more expensive then in Kyiv. Furthermore, the price is paid not just for the hours used, but for each person, too. We still can’t find the logic behind such calculations of the price and costs. At the website it was also stated that the rooms will be cleaned once in 3 days, with the change of bedding and towels. Forget about it! When we asked the host about the cleaning, she just gave us some fresh towels (like 4 or 5 towels for 9 people) and some toilet paper. No cleaning, no change of bedding whatsoever! And wasn’t it obvious from the very beginning that 9 people might need a bit more of toilet paper for 6 days? And we don’t have to ask about anything like that, it’s the service they’re providing and the service we have paid for! Plus forget about the toiletries, which were also promised but never delivered. We are really disappointed, they can just put a little bit more effort and make the stay of their guests pleasant, make them want to come back again, but they just choose to earn as much as possible straight away and with minimal investments. We have looked around Yaremche during our visit and could find more decent places to stay for even better price, so this place is NOT recommended at all.
