The hotel is an absolute gem. My husband and I stayed a week during the long May break on my colleague's recommendations and were so happy we did. Our room (a junior suite with a balcony on the 3rd floor) was spacious, tastefully decorated in a Swiss chalet style (lots of light-coloured wood everywhere), very clean, and had a very comfy bed. The view from the room is just breathtaking! It was quite warm so we were able to enjoy a cup of tea on the balcony, enjoying the view and wearing the provided plush bathrobes (let me tell you this, I've only had a better bathrobe at Intercontinental. Honest!) Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and happy to tend to our every whim. They arranged a number of trips to other parts of the Carpathians for us, booked our taxis, offered advice on places to eat and generally made us feel very welcome. Location of the hotel is very good - about 5 minutes on foot to Yaremche's main street and train station, 10 minutes to the waterfall. The property is rather big, with many blossoming trees and bushes, outdoor sheltered pavilions where you can have a meal from the hotel restaurant, benches, and basically everything you need to spend time outdoors. There's also a sauna, which is free, and a massage room. Beware though, the building has very thin walls and you can hear everything going on in other rooms, even listen in on louder conversations. May not be suitable for light sleepers. Otherwise, my stay was just perfect and I will definitely stay again.
