Hotel "Uman" was built in the very heart of the city of Uman, in the place where all the roads lead. Right next to the hotel there is the Art Gallery, the central square and the central park. There are museums in the immediate vicinity, parks, and for amateurs - nightclubs and restaurants of the city of Uman. You can get to the hotel in Uman by fixed-route taxis №№ 1,9,14, 17, 18 (stop "Center"). The Uman Hotel is a four-storey building that combines historical architecture and modern design. Upon entering the hotel, you will find yourself near the reception, where our administrator will help you in choosing a room and answer all your questions at any time of the day. Hotel "Uman" has both economy class rooms with shared facilities and more comfortable rooms with shower, toilet, air conditioning. Televisions are installed in all rooms, free WIFI for all residents, as well as for our clients: laundry. For the convenience of our clients, we have both cash and non-cash payments. Additionally, a tourist tax is charged (for citizens of Ukraine - UAH 30.00, for citizens of other countries - UAH 150.00)

Simple, but ok

Very sowjet-style hotel with strange carpets :-) Right in the city centre, but there isn‘t much to do in Uman, anyway. No breakfast and no elevator (we stayed on the third floor). The wifi was very poor, too. Ok for one night, though.

You don't really have much choice....

If you like grumpy reception staff and security staff that don't give a damn, a place that doesn't have any food, but is centrally located, then this is the place for you. A real old style soviet era hotel that has been refurbished in a drab style. It is clean, but don;t expect your bed to be made for you, or your bathroom cleaned daily. There is a supermarket next door and plenty of cafes in the area for breakfast so that is not a great issue. The rooms are large and beds relatively comfortable. There is a TV, fridge and decent bathroom in each with air conditioning. Characterful and convenient ;)

Quite good, as for Uman

Before that the only place lived in Uman was Fortetsya, and it was quite OK. On the other hand, Uman hotel is quite closer to the centre, providing the same level of service. So, it was Saturday (the hottest day in Uman as hundreds or even thousands of tourists come to see the Park), and we booked the last room in the hotel. It was very clear inside the private room (heard that rooms with common bathroom are not so good), as well as in the rexeption. Just a little noisy in the night (because of some drunk girls and open window in our room). Everything else was OK, at least nothing special as we've been acknowleged that Uman service level in general is quite low.

We stayed at hotel Uman' for one night. We did not booked beforehand and were happy that there were vacancies. We lived in Standard room. It was as pictured on their website and clean. I had to pay 100 hrivna deposit, which was returned upon check out. Personal was friendly, but I did not bother them a lot. Good free WiFi connection on my mobile phone. The room would benefit from air conditioner as it was pretty hot. And another thing - you could easily hear neighborhood (very good acoustic :) ) from outside as well as inside. Overall I was satisfied and would recommend this place for short stay in the centre of Uman'.

Good value for the money

Paying 210 UAH (c. 18 USD) I stayed one night in the centrally located hotel in late May, 2014. Everything, including the wifi, worked. The room was clean and the receptionist friendly. There was nothing to complain about.
