Good hotel with fantastic staff that could be a ittle bit cheaper for the location

What really impressed us was the staff, everyone was very nice, friendly and helpful staff with very good English that was helping us with everything possible. Nice room with very good bed and curtains, quiet at night but noisy during the day, perhaps from hotel laundry. Price relatively high compared to hotels in the center.

Perfect place to stay in Kyiv

It's the second time I've stayed at the Sofievsky Posad Hotel, this time I visited with my daughter. The rooms are clean and feel light and airy, the breakfast sets you up for the day, and the staff are helpful friendly and professional, especially the girls are reception who were always ready to help with any questions. There are also beautifully maintained sauna rooms which we enjoyed on this trip.The hotel isn't in the city center, but the prices of the rooms are a bargain, and it's no problem to get into the city. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kyiv.

A very pleasant surprise!

The hotel is maybe twenty minutes by car from the city centre, but the hotel has its own excellent private car service to take you wherever you want to go. The cars are smart and clean, and so are the drivers. The bedroom was very large, clean and airy, and the bathroom was fine. The swimming pool is not huge, but it is hired to customers on a private, hourly basis, as are the various saunas. The hotel has a very pleasant ambience, but the main factor in its favour is the staff. I stayed three nights, and felt as if I knew them by the end of my stay, especially Yulia and Marina on reception, who did so much to help me. I will try very hard to find an excuse to go back to the Sofievsky Posad!

Very nice hotel, with perfect non smoking rooms. Breakfast is a bit poor, could be riched a bit. Very fresh yard outside. Even yard is divided into two parts for smokers and non smokers, what is very good for families with babies to ait outside. Reception ladies are very friendly and speak very fluent English and Russian, so you will not be lost )) there are even swimming pools, they are small a bit, but enough for being inside of water )) the hotel itself is a bit far from city center, but they have hotel taxis that can be used. Anyway, Uber is the cheapest taxi in Kiev. So, go to Kiev, choose this hotel, enjoy your stay and take a deep breat of fresh oxygen ))

Nice facade and space outside. Parking area is big. Rooms are clean, bathroom is smelling bad. Noisy a/c system. No international programs on TV. Very good welcome kit for the bathroom. SPA and swimming pool available for a fee. Breakfast is in general poor in term of choice and in term of quality of food but the restaurant is nice, spacious and bright. Possible to have dinner (not tried). Bar selection is poor. Service is good both in the restaurant and at the reception. Credit cards are accepted. Very good WiFi signal. Also available a small business room at a small fee. Most of the stuff is also English speaking. When back in this area, I will come back.

Good enough, clean, with nice personal who will take care for your rest. Only thing I don’t like is breakfast, they can make more very easy. You can use sauna, it’s close to airport and not to far to centre. So enjoy your stay.

Our stay was amazing. The rooms were spaciouse and the bathroom luxurious with a generouse walk in shower. The hotel as a 24 hour spa. I didn't go as you need to make reservations. Unlike the spa wellness in western hotels that not private in Ukraine spa's are private rooms with all the ameneties of a spa for small groups up to 10 persons. The breakfast was included but it was very basic.

Not good for tourist or business

Bad location, even with the car its not easy to get anywere due to heavy trafic during rush hours. And they charge for parking! Most of ameneties mentioned here does not exist or will cost you extra. Pool does not exist. Gym does not exist. Spa cost extra and you wont be able to use any of it as a resident. Rooms are not soundproof, even a little bit. And number of stars they claim here is way too hight for its real level.

Nice Staff BUT terrible transfer and food cost

The staff always did their best to please you. However, they rip off when you order a taxi as they charge more than double prices. The asked me for 450 hrn to pick me from airport and I ended paying 650 hrn when it doesn't cost more than 240 hrn. Also when drop me to the centre they charged 170-188 when it costs less than 100 hrn. I asked for a plate they said you have to buy something from their restaurant to get that and of course it was another rip off when I had to purchase a salad. The hotel is too far from any residential areas and facilities and therefore I don't recommend it to any tourists.

We celebrated our wedding day in the big hall. Delicious food, excellent service, magnificant interior, beautiful territory with it's green garden. All guests were greatly impressed. Thank you very much for a happy day.
