I chose this hotel to celebrate a New Year eve because the proposed nice New Year travel+celebration package, but since we wanted to stay a bit less here than 7 days, it turned that we can count only on a quiet dinner in the restaurant since there were no free places for entertaining programme and we will be the only ones who will celebrate in the restaurant. But since we went with a small kid, I was happy with it. By the hotel administrator's request, I had to order the dinner by the menu in 2 weeks before the arrival. The order was sent via email. Actually, everything seemed to be fine but we started with the fact that I can pay only by cash on the front desk and the possibility to pay online was found only after asking the help of the manager who luckily was around. The room was very comfortable and clean and we actually didn't bother with the not very nice view outside. The room service was also good. The restaurant service was.. acceptable, except the case when two waiters started to argue who will make the TV less loud when we asked (both were busy..) The worse thing I got at New Year eve: I was informed that our dinner will be ready at 10pm. When we came at 10-40 (our kid slept longer than we expected) we found all main course dishes ready and cool, but the salad was not ready yet.. Moreover, as I found some ingredients were just missed or substituted without any excuses or even information - no mozzarella, no brie cheese, no parma ham... The drinks were served in the wrong order with a big delay. And we were asked to pay at 11-45pm because they 'had to finish the finance day'! The change was never brought to us - New Year, you understand.. When I told it to the girl at the front desk when we were leaving the hotel, she was a bit surprised and ... that's it! In addition, they added the bottled water that we brought with us for the kid to the mini-bar receipt. No words, that we didn't take it, were heard. Needless to say that all good impressions were just broken. The service is terrible!
