Vibrating room from the noise

I also should of read the reviews. We left the hotel after two hours..... Extremely noisy, tiny room with no window. The staff were also rude. I have been asking if they can give me a map of the city and they told me If I dont have google maps on my phone..

Very LOUD. Room vibrating.... not in the right way!

LOUD LOUD LOUD! The other reviews are accurate. Surrounded by nightclubs and strip clubs, you will struggle to sleep until well past 5am. The room was actually vibrating from the noise. Like another reviewer said, if you’re planning on partying all night and sleeping all day this is the hotel for you. The room was tiny, literally just a bed (with a tiny thin duvet) and two small cubby holes for both our clothes. Also very very warm. Staff were friendly and helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Had its ups and downs!

Stayed here with my partner for a long weekend booked through Groupon. The hotel was not as bad as expected after reading other reviews, but could have been much better! Here's the run down... First the good. Location was perfect, so easy to get around from. Very central. The room was clean and quirky. The location felt safe and was convenient. It was a very reasonable price. And the not so good...first the obvious. The hotel is sandwiched between a night club and a "mens club". Theres a lot of coming and going! There are women in leather waving cat o nine tails! They like to party in Kiev and the music starts early evening and finishes sometime between 6 and 8 in the morning. Not sure exactly what time as I had my ear plugs in! It wasn't loud enough to wake you up but was annoying enough to stop you getting to sleep. Take ear plugs. Ask for a quiet room. Next It was freezing! We had one very thin cover which wasn't quite long enough or wide enough to cover 2 people! And apparently there were no more in the hotel as we asked for a second and there weren't any. They did however give us a heater for the room which helped. All in all we have had a brilliant weekend in Kiev and plan to go back. Not sure it will be to this hotel, though it has been an interesting experience!

Awful hotel

I should of read the reviews but didn't and suffered for 2 nights someone previously said put ear plugs in but the music still gets through . I am never one to write a bad review but I wouldn't give this 1 star never mind 3 or 4 stars . rooms need renovation my sink was hanging off the wall bath tub seen better days too and as for the shower head well least said about it .. there is a reason it's cheap and that is the location which is great but dont stay here if you want a peaceful hotel

If you want to spend all night in the strip club next door, and sleeping all day; this is the place for you. You can't sleep at night because of the music from the DJ. The staff were nice. The rooms were not. No wardrobe or cupboards, no drinking water or mini bar. Decor is awful. Good location, but I suspect this isn't meant for those on their honeymoon.

Unexpensive but in need of renovation

Paying only about 250 each night for one single room (local currency), in comparison with most of the world this is a very affordable Hotel, which is quite common for all of the Ukraine as I understood. Royal Hotel de Paris was also right in the middle of the city centre, with walking distance to the citys main square, many sights, nightclubs, bars and restaurants. The entrance to the Hotel and reception area is a bit challenging to find at first arrival. The room was small and the bathroom desperately needed new tiles and renovation. The overall impression of the stay would have improved if it wasnt for the fact that buying coffee in the reception did cost 5 times as much as in any street kiosk. No breakfast included at the Hotel, but a lot of great cafes in the vicinity.

Didn't actually stay after reading reviews

I booked in a hurry, but then read reviews and booked another hotel as I didn't want to risk, so partly my fault but obviously no sign of a refund or any contact from hotel. Choice to change hotels definitely payed off and I ended up in hotel tourist complex, which was great and cheap. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but uber costed about £2.50. Great choice

Very good and little hotel in the center of Kiev

This hotel in Kyiv is a very good price and the very location for the centre of the city which is about five minutes walk if you do not know Kyiv well this hotel would be quite hard to find as it is it a very little entrance and you have to go to the third floor to gain entrance to the hotel there's about 20 rooms the rooms are very little just a bed a tv and a shower room which is very plush for the price of the hotel for one night which is about £28 via booking.com I would say it's a very good price for a short stay but I would not recommend send the hotel more than 2 to 3 nights. If you don't mind loud music playing to about one or two in the morning so touted also okay as there is a gentleman's club right outside the main entrance to the hotel to get from the central station to the train station or the nearest metro station you will have to get to tubes and walk about five minutes from the station get off her. The staff speak English Russian and Ukrainian and one of them speaks of them speak a little bit Turkish.

STAY AWAY!! HORRIBLE!!! SCAMMERS! I paid for 10 days thru Hotels.com and after checkin i found Blood Stains on my Blanket and Dirt everywhere in the room! Music pounding non stop from the club under my room and prostitutes in the stinky LOBBY and Elevators dont work! I cancelled my reservation next day and more to a good hotel. I contacted Hotels.com for refund and they informed me This Dodgy hotel doesnt want to refund and till this day they ignored all my emails and requests! BEWARE!!! Worst Hotel i ever been too. Hotels.com aswell is bad as they cannot protect their customers and blamed it on the hotel! Iam out 800$ for no reason!

Worst hotel in excellent location

Aoery to say but it ilwas the worst hotel I have ever stayed in...located in the heart of Kiev it is the best location. .very close to independence square...no staff..very bad service...very slow front desk...no breakfast and food...no basic anmenities like towel or toothpaste or shampoo ... jacuzzi not working...non ventilated rooms...small windows.... definitely must avoin...not even a 1 star hotel...photos are very deceptive ...don't go by them...
