We like hotel and our room

We like hotel and our room Unique with very helpful staff. The service is very nice and helpful. close to park with Motherland statue and war museum , a must see . Also famous caves on same walk. I definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay again there.

Quiet hotel per one night, frendly staff

The personnall was very friendly and great location. The mattress was not comfortable. Had to call security to reset safe password. Slow and no stabile wifi. No acceptance of EUR.Equipment in the room little bit old and used,okay for one time staying.Room is clean. Breakfast is the same for every day and there is no ukrainian dishes at all(want to taste ukrainian cuisine if you stay in Kyiv). Restaurant staff does not speak english. General manager is not frendly to staff and for the guest. I wanted to meet with her, she hid in the office and didn’t go in until I left. When I was taking clothes after ironing,staff have lunch in laundry room it's no good.

Very positive and helpful staff. The room is simple but clean. Breakfast should be served with coffee at the beginning of breakfast, not after breakfast. Taxis sometimes refuse to drive to this location because dropping off from the city center means getting into traffic jams. The positive is that the hotel is located away from the hectic streets and has the opportunity to enjoy peace while being close to the city center and Pechersk Lavra.

Good location, wonderful staff, washed towels and bathrobes. Lack of cleanliness in the bathroom, mold in the shower.

I would suggest increasing the restaurant menu, when there is nothing to eat in the evening, you can only offer dumplings from the store or a hot fries fries, and the price is like a restaurant. The price does not match the quality of service. I wouldn't give the hotel more than 3 stars.

Clean rooms

Clean rooms, ok price, friendly service, very good location for walking sightseeing. Breakfast very weak with a fixed menu( old bread, over sweetened porridge etc.) Safe did not work. Promised to fix it but did not.

Decent enough provided the price

The hotel is rather outdated, but clean and decent enough for a comfortable stay. It is cheap and close to the city center, so justifiable. My room was comfortable and I had no particular complaints, however the hallway was rather smelly. No issues at check in or check out. Location is central but not close to the transportation, so unless you plan to use taxis, it might not be the best choice.

Amazing Room - Everything you need

Stayed during our trip to Kiev for the Champions league final. We were made to feel welcome and didn’t have any problems during the stay. Pleasantly surprised at how big the room was and the design furniture within the room, we had only booked a standard room so unsure if all rooms are the same, but ours was definitely worth the price.

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the metro. The room was clean and had a fridge/mini bar. There was free bottled water and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel). There was a safe but there were no instruction in English. The breakfast was fine. All the staff were friendly. Reception spoke good English and printed our return boarding passes and ordered us a taxi. We stayed there for 6 nights but one night there was shouting and singing until 2:30 am from students in the hostel upstairs.

Huge problems during check out

It seems reasonable but when due to a clogged shower some of their towels get wet a bit get because of dust from their carpets they tried to charge for damage and destruction. They did not accepted my proposition to wait for cleaning and then if it falls to charge me. They clearly wanted to charge me as much as possible and they constantly told me that it was my fault that I noticed their clogged shower too late. I won't recommend staying. You can be lucky but in case of the problems they would blame you and overcharge you.

Tried to cheat us over their plumbing problems

The shower flooded & after less than 5 minutes the floor and carpet outside was wet. They tried to demand the price of another night, then just towels ("ruined" by using them to dry the very dirty carpet and costing 2/3 of one night in the room), and waste our time until we give in. Finally we had to ask them to call the police. We tried everything to look at the drainage and dry up the floor to prevent floor damage and yet they argue and argue for their faulty plumbing. If they actually clean rooms before use then the completely blocked shower would have been noticeable to the cleaning staff. No public transportation nearby and all rooms are first floor so no view as one would expect on this hill. If they were not swindlers, then it would be a decent room but this is a waste of our time, both when trying to just get ready and leave, and after. Somehow all the cleaning staff has extra time to argue for an hour with us about how impossible it is to wash wet for stainless bath robes.
