Number one hotel

Hotel with great and quiet location, friendly and helpful staff. I booked the hotel as from what I saw online looked amazing. The entrance, reception, bar and dining areas are with the great design. The rooms are big and spacious. The king size bed was more than big enough, free WIFI, lots of TV channels Staff are very helpful. I would highly recommend the Alfavito Hotel Kyiv to anyone wanting a great hotel for their stay in Kiev, whether a long stay or short, it’s perfect in every aspect. My rate for Alfavito Hotel is ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Stayed here for a few times already. Good quality, corresponds to the standard business 4-star hotel. Convenient location, lots of shops and cafes nearby. Good breakfast, comfortable hotel rules and a good fitness room.

A nice hotel

Stayed 3 nights. Difficult to assess relative value when you've only stayed at one hotel in Kiev but I'm guessing that, because it is not in the heart of downtown, it may be more affordable than 4 star hotels that are. Be prepared for a cab or metro ride (or otherwise a pretty long walk) to the centre. That would be fine if in a pretty or scenic location but it isn't and seems more positioned for business visitors rather than tourists. One odd thing is that I could not simply charge room service to my, er, room! When I phoned my order, the person asked if I'd be paying by cash or card and seemed surprised when I said I'd like it charged to my room. He had to check with reception then called me back so say they had said 'no' (they did not give a reason). In all my years staying at hotels around the world, that was a first. (I also saw other reviews commenting on not being able to charge bar drinks or restaurant meals to your room). The breakfasts were good while not being of top standard in terms of quality or choice. Having said all that, this is a nice hotel with good service and efficient staff, the rooms of a generally high standard and the lobby area/bar is well designed, and overall a good stay.

I stayed in Alfavito hotel this September and was very happy with the services. The room was large and comfortable. Early check-in was organized in a smooth way. You will find all the basic furniture items. Sleeping quality was perfect- bed, quietness, everything! The hotel is not very close to city center, but it is very close to Metro station, which was pretty convenient and ridiculously cheap. I did not manage to have breakfast as I was in a hurry all 3 days, but there was quite a decent choice. Conference facilities were very good and the support staff was friendly and effective. There is a safe deposit in the room and wifi (free of charge). There was morning coffee on the hallway every day! Definitely recommended!

Slightly odd but decent hotel

The room was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough, with a reasonable bathroom, TV, etc. The beds were a little narrow and soft for me, but they did have a great choice of pillows on request! Breakfast was ok too, plenty of choice, and we ate in the restaurant a couple of times in the evening and found the food and service excellent. There was also a currency exchange, which was really helpful, and the concierge helped us to find things in the area. I'd say the only slight negative was the location, which is at least near to a Metro station, but 'Palace of Ukraine' was clearly named for the large venue on the main street, and the hotel built to accommodate entertainers and smart guests. When we were there, nothing was showing and the hotel and district was very quiet. Usually I don't mind quiet at all, but at night, returning by tube, it was a bit unnerving.

Alfavito hotel is a very nice place to stay. looks a bit different than usual hotels I'm staying in. Beautiful lobby, dark coloured with a discrete bar - very useful if you arrive late. Rooms are big and clean, nothing is missing.

Comfortable stay.

This hotel was chosen for us by our tour company and when we arrived it seemed to be far out of the city centre but once we found the metro station (5-10 min walk) the location was fine. Our twin room was of standard size with a bath and shower, all clean and served the stay well. We had drinks outside the restaurant but no dinner. Breakfast was OK but could have beeen better, some odd items. Reception and concierge staff were very helpful with tourist attraction locations and helping us print our boarding cards for UIA (which they insist on having). Overall would recommend but would rate as average amongst the hundreds of hotels I have stayed at round the world for class of hotel.

Keep an eye on your clothes

Our first day here a man asks me around 9 in the morning if we need the room cleaned. That struck me as odd. Then my mom and I went out to do some sightseeing and come back three hours later only to discover her thick, wool sweater is missing from the room. So I went down to reception to ask them where it went and while the girl is calling about it making inquiries, I see the sweater, draped around a chair in the corner behind her. Someone had stolen it. I pointed it out to her and she acted all surprised then gave it back to me. What was it doing down there? Then, the next morning some rude woman tried to argue with me that I hadn't paid for the breakfast buffet, when I had already left a 4,000 grivna deposit. This is a hotel full of unpleasant surprises.

Good Near subway, 3 station to downtow Clean, quiet, friendly staff Bad- Wifii do not work at room Breakfast is poor. I stayed four days, every day i had to ask for Hot milk If you have anything bought extra like Dinner or beer on the bar You have to pay, you can not put in account room( god knows why)

Mysterious charmer

I was there for a week , still impressed with this huge mansion. It is situated bit out of main roads but is close to underground and all others you need. Staff was helpful , room very nice and big, clean and comfortable. I was on business so I somehow assume it is more for business people not really for family vacation.
