Not a 4* hotel at all

Apr 6, 2019

About 15 mn walk to the center street , the place itself is not only a hotel but a complex of multiple things : Restaurant (not connected to the hotel but where breakfast is serve so if you want to order something during the day you must pay on the spot , not possible to put it on the room ) , then there is a sauna (can’t comment I didn’t use it) , there is a gym (not a gym for the hotel but a gym where people from the city come to train , guests of the hotel can go for free but there are a lot of people in the gym) , the reception of the hotel is on the third floor (no lift so a good “warmup” with the luggage and last but not list the bigger rooms have space and big windows however the curtains are smaller than the windows so in short as soon as the sun comes up it’s day light in your room , impossible to keep it dark. Personally I can’t sleep once the sun is up so without proper curtains I ended waking up way earlier then I would have liked to. The staff are nice but unfortunately too many inconvenient for a hotel that is supposed to be a 4* and is not cheap for Kherson .

Excellent of what you can get for 20 euros price

This is very much low budget hotel - frankly, there is nothing connected with word “premier”... small rooms, simple interior, small bed - all attributes of simple accommodation. But I also should admit that the rooms are clean and staff is very much friendly and helpful. Shortly - this hotel provides decent stay for not big money.

Good staff, comfortable surroundings

Dec 6, 2016

The Premier Compass Hotel could do with a little TLC to bring it to standard. My initial feeling really wasn't good, and the first night was a bad one due to other guests, but after 72 hours of travel, I needed rest. I'm glad we stayed, because every other night onwards was fine. The staff really are excellent, and the facilities superb. The hotel rooms do require a little TLC, and housekeeping wasn't every day. Really, cream carpets shouldn't be used - a nightmare to keep clean. And, we'd like our room to be made daily, not just once out of 5. Furnishings are comfortable, and servicable. tv, and lightly stocked fridge are available. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna / Jacuzzi - but, be aware, this is chargeable to guests. Breakfast is pre ordered. A buffet would be far greater, and offers of more meats would be appreciated. Regardless, the portion sizes were good. Room Service was excellent, and the restaurant menu is excellent. The food produced here is remarkably good. Staff are the real asset here, with one young girl going out of her way to help us. All in all, this is a good site, which doesn't need much work at all. Well Done!
