    This number will especially appeal to young people who lead an active lifestyle, love walks and travel a lot. It is decorated in a light neoclassical style: simple graceful lines, unobtrusive decor, light shades of decoration and furniture fill the room with air and light and visually expand it. There is nothing superfluous in the decoration of the room, but it does not look cold or boring. A luxurious crystal chandelier, carved gilded picture frames, a mosaic panel on the floor add zest to the interior. Natural wood in the interior and a soft carpet by the bed create a warm, homely atmosphere. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a bed for two with an orthopedic mattress; bedside tables, night light; a small table with a couple of chairs for breakfast or evening tea; spacious wardrobe; air conditioner for comfortable temperature and humidity; plasma TV. The room window offers a panoramic view of the picturesque canyon of the Smotrich River. A perfectly clean bathroom is tiled with light ceramic tiles and equipped with modern sanitary ware.

Extremely Hospitable Hosts - Can't Ask for More

Grand Canyon guesthouse is located in the Old Town, near the edge towards the bridge towards the New Town. Getting from the bus or train station is not difficult. Google Maps has the directions installed (though the timings are not accurate!). One can take mashrutka no 7 from the train station, or both 1 and 7 from the bus station (but take a short walk from the bus station to the main road). Alternatively, it is also possible to walk about 2-3km from the bus station, downhill so it's not too bad if you're travelling light. The accom itself is modern and very comfortable. It comprises of the main building, and 2 standalones - I got 1 room at the standalone building. For the price, I can't see how one can get a much better deal. It is located a pleasant 10 minutes walk to the castle, through the Old Town. What makes Grand Canyon stand out is the hospitality. Despite speaking no English, the hosts were very nice. I was supposed to stay for just 1 night, but on the second day was supposed to get an overnight train from KP to Kiev. When the host understood that (thanks to Google Translate), she shared that she had no guest occupying my room that night, and thus invited me to leave my baggage in the room for the day, whilst I headed over to Khotyn Fortress. Because of this, I was able to find a place to rest after my day trip, shower and even sleep for a bit before continuing my journey to the train station and beyond. Just before I left, I offered some compensation for overstaying but the host flat out rejected it. It was very nice of her and I did appreciate that very much (I did leave a tip behind in the room thereafter). Other interesting to-knows: - Breakfast is reasonable, and the dining area does indeed overlook the canyon, which was nice (but admittedly not spectacular) - There is a grocery store just 2-3 mins walk from the accommodation - There are also some restaurants around the area, so no fear about food - Safety wise, I had no concerns - in fact, both the Old and New Town of KP seemed very safe to me in general. Would highly recommend the place!

Awesome place in Kamienets-Podolski oldtown with beautiful view to canyon and reasonable price. Very comfortable and clean room. Welcoming and nice owner. Perfect choice for family or traveling couple.
