Nice Hotel to stay

Stayed there for two nights. It is a nice, peaceful hotel with several plus points. It is situated close to the Basmene Train station and also within walking distance from the famous Konak Square of Izmir. There are several eateries of different varieties nearby. The staff were very helpful. Most important they are strictly following the SOPs specially in the dinning hall. The breakfast was also good. Will love to stay there again. There are shops nearby of variety of stuff including clothes. If you want to go to Selcuk, Epheses, etc could easily go there by boarding train from nearby station.

I liked everything. The hotel is exactly in the center. Very close to Basmane metro. The rooms are big, clean, the bed is super, the heating was working, internet super. I was in Izmir because of the marathon run. It starts very early but almost the hole breakfast is ready at 6 oclock. I was very happy of that. I could eat and go. The staff is very polite, knows English. I love eating and the breakfast is excellent. There is everything what you want. Delicious, super! I recommend.

I’ve stayed here one night, it was so useful location to go kordon , Konak ,alsancak etc.and definitely I would like to thank you in reception Mr.mert and all team are very kind and respectful, just I would say I couldn’t sleep very well because of noises , if they solve it , definitely I’ll come here again!

This hotel checked all the boxes. Quiet, good wifi, clean, secure, helpful front desk, elevator, location, and parking I have had better breakfast, but like I said "for the price"... and it will fill you up. I would very much stay here again. When you go into an unknown hotel you have certain expectations; this hotel exceeded everyone of mine.

Excellent Stay

The Oglakcioglu is very centrally located. It is near transportation options, a short walk from the park and a major museum and a slightly longer walk to the bazaar and ruins of the agora etc. It's not the most dynamic of neighborhoods, but it feels safe, and there is a good restaurant across the street. I found my room clean and spacious with a nice bathroom. The wi-fi was excellent. Noise was minimal. The buffet breakfast that comes with the price of the room was extensive though it was mostly full of items like olives that aren't exactly center pieces of a robust meal! Parking was included and is in a garage below the hotel. An attendant came out and drove my car into a car elevator and brought it out for me the next day. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel on our last leg of our Turkey trip. Very nice hotel, with a good buffet breakfast, extremely helpful staff and rooms are clean and neat, just a tad on the small size if you are travelling with big suitcases.

this hotel is near the city centre, i think place is good but not so beautiful neighbor. specially at nights, u didnt feel good in that neighborhood. i have problem with my pillow and when i say i have neck pain and please change my pillow, they say we have just this type of pillow so they didnt help me and all 3night of my trip i slept on my elbow.. staffs are good and kind. breakfast is good enough. room is dark but maybe romantic!

Nice Hotel!

We stayed for four nights at this hotel and it was great! The personal was friendly and helpful, specially Erol and Göhkan (the two working during the day). The breakfast was tasty and had a good selection. The hotel is children friendly (we were traveling with a baby and a child). Everything was clean and well kept. The location is also great with lots of good food options just around the hotel. We were very happy and would repeat it again!
