Stayed here in December for a hair transplant, looked at the reviews and pictures before travelling and they looked fine, lots to offer in terms of restaurants (I knew hotels were the only place to eat due to COVID) so was looking forward to staying there. My goodness the pictures couldn’t have been more wrong, the place was soulless and the staff even worse! Rude, unhelpful and just saw you as a number. The hotel is supposed to have 3 to 4 eateries, when we arrived we were told there is only one serving breakfast and dinner during a set time, we asked about the bar - Hotels.com stated there was a bar/lounge - they told us there was no bar and NO ALCOHOL as it was a clinic hotel, something which is not mentioned anywhere online, and for transplant companions is not very reasonable and should be mentioned online. If we had known this we would have stayed elsewhere. Then the rooms - old, tacky and with no soundproofing, you could hear the industrial estate across the road, the staff banging on people’s doors and the street arguments. If you enjoy sleeping you won’t want to stay here! The bed matches room to a tee; hard, uncomfortable and loud. The pillows were like balloons and strained our necks and we couldn’t wait to leave. All in all an awful hotel which if you are looking at staying in I would avoid like you would avoid COVID - if you’re a transplant patient ask for somewhere else or make your own booking. I hadn’t known somewhere so dead and unwelcoming until I walked into the Nova Plaza Pera.
