Due to all the disruption of covid, eventually made it over to Calis in August, with party of 9, ranging from 8 to 74 years old. So, obviously hard to cater for everyone. Well, no need to worry! Rented 2 separate apartments as originally only 5 travelling for 2 weeks , but additional 4 came out for just one week. These were booked privately with 2 different people, and can't fault service and communication from either. Sunset beach is on the far end of Calis beach, so a fair trek to promenade and strip, but dolmus stop both at beach and main entrance, and no shortage of these every few minutes. We opted for bike hire, which honestly can say, made the holiday for us. With convoy of 9,looked like the Von Trapps on tour . Hired these from the most fabulous Ibrahim, at Joy Lettings, who is a star! Can't help you enough and even changed seat from racer to comfy new ladies for niece. He was helped with arrangements by Hassan, at the Turkish Hamman on site. Which leads me to Hassan. His command of English is superb, making him a mine of helpful information and advice, who is ever ready to help, for no personal or financial gain. Saying this, we did succomb to his silver tongue and booked a session in the Hamman for all 6 of us ladies, 8-72. Have been lured into many turkish baths over the years... for legitimate reasons . So have a variety of experiences covering fab to rip off. Anyway, the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We had private use of whole premises throughout and made so welcome and all staff superb. All enjoyed the fun of the bubble massage, but the 4 older ones had the pleasure of extra massage on tables, each in private room. Oh my word, what a treat! Asked if wanted soft of hard massage by my lady, and opted for hard hard Hard!! She certainly gave my body a good going over, working on knots and stress, literally from head to toe. My mum opted for soft and loved hers so much nearly fell asleep. Bliss. We left after good 2 hours, which included sauna(about 2mins all younger could survive), full bubble massage(which I actually thought was body massage as so comprehensive), relax on beds with apple tea, then private massages. Incredible service, hospitality and experience. Can't recommend enough! If hadn't been for all the bruises and bumps I picked up through jollies(another series..) I would have loved to book another or 2!! Added to this, Hassan and his brother will always provide a friendly welcome and word whenever just walk past!! Book it!!
