stayed at golden moon sept for 19 days great place ,lovely small hotel all staff and cleaners friendly ,free aircon great breakfast clean towels every day ,theres so many nice restaurants our favourite was brothers ,sea breeze,for a snack gunzik round corner from hotel ,be back soon loved it

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Lovely people and pet friendly great pool great facilities wifi air con etc.. owners will do anything for you so will the staff my stop here was a last minute walk in and they just did everything possible to look after me and my family will be back next year cannot wait

Stayed at The Golden Moon hotel in August 2019 en route to a different resort. Was wary at first with it being a smaller hotel than we would usually book but we was definitely proved wrong. Very clean and welcoming hotel. Perfect for families, couples, single parties. Clean bedding and towels daily, friendly staff. Modern looking hotel. Lovely Breakfast provided in the morning which exceeds expectations compared to other Turkish bed and breakfasts. Fantastic and convenient location. Less than 5 minute walk to restaurants, shopping and local corner shop. Will definitely stay here again when in Fethiye!! Thankyou for having us :)

The owner Mete is such a helpful friendly guy who couldn't do enough for us ,the bar staff were fantastic (especially Alex) . A small and very friendly hotel with clean towels and bedding every day. location of this hotel is fantastic for shops, restaurants , beach and water taxi all within 5 minutes walk. We were a rather large group that arrived end of July for 2 weeks & everyone has said that they will return again next year to this lovely hotel. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Friendly staff with good location

Have stayed at Calis many times but this was first time in Golden Moon. Our group consisted of my wife and I and also my daughter, son in law and granddaughter. The rooms we had were arm 110 which was a family room on first floor and arm 205 on second floor. The rooms are basic but clean and are attended every day by the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was included and is what you would expect for a Turkish breakfast and consisted of cereals, meat, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, boiled eggs, bread and toast,jams, coffee and tea. On some days an omelette or pancake is available. The swimming pool and children’s pool are clean and a good size whilst the area around the pool is a mixture of tiled area and grass with a nice garden surrounding it. There is a poolside bar for drinks, ice creams ets and food is also available all day with items such as pizza, pasta, salads etc and is of excellent quality and value. But it is the friendly staff that really make this hotel such a pleasure to stay at and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Aisha and Jasmin who were so kind to my granddaughter.If you require 5 star luxury then this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a clean , friendly hotel in a good location then I can recommend you give thr Golden Moon a try.

Great stay at Golden Moon

We have just come back after a 2-week stay at this smashing hotel. It was fantastic and everyone at the hotel could not do enough for us, it is family run and we had a really fun time there. The staff are great and we look forward to going back in May/June next year.It is spotlessly clean , And the two little dogs that greet you at the front gate are friendly and welcoming. Anyone for tomato Ketchup!!!!!! 10/10 hope your necks better boss val and ginger

We just come back from two weeks here. We did not have any problems .We had been to calis few times now and stayed in different hotels. But this one is so special.The hotel is home from home .The staff all very helpful as for management they could not do enough for you. As we left all the staff was waving good bye.We will be definitely coming back to the golden moon. A BIG THANK to Alex in bar, lsher, and all the other staff for making our holiday fantastic. 1st Visit to Fethiye

My wife & I have just returned from a week’s holiday @ The Golden Moon Hotel. We had a lovely roo on the 1st floor overlooking the pool & lovely gardens. Twin beds, very comfortable. The room service was excellent, kept nice & clean. Breakfast was a typical Continental Breakfast, fruit,cereals, hard boiled eggs, cheese & local cold meat. Good start to the day. The owners Mete & Tuba, both spent a few years in England & spoke perfect English, so no language problems. They were very helpful in sorting out some of our travel arrangements, tours & transfers to the Airport. The rest of the Team Sevim Ayse, Yasemin & Kemal we all very friendly & helpful, service with a smile. We will certainly go back & stay there again.

One week holiday

Lovely cosy comfortable friendly hotel. I was greeted by a lovely young man called Volcan. He was very welcoming and really looked out for me. He was very helpful and the staff couldn't do enough for me. The breakfast was nice and fresh. I went out off season so it was cold the heating was great and my room 104 was cosy. Steer clear

I will start by saying my experience was a couple of years back and have just seen a post on Facebook which reminded me of my experience at golden moon and prompted me to report my experience. I would steer clear. I made a booking then later added my sister (we paid extra for this) on to the booking a few weeks before we had arrived. When we arrived there was no room available for us and they tried to put us in a hostel style accommodation across the road with no pool - I think it may have been a family home! . We went over to see if we could manage there but it was grotty and nowhere near the standard of the hotel. He tried to blame it on the fact I had added my sister on to the booking after I made my first booking, but when I asked if the room for just me was available like I had originally booked, this wasn't available either so it was a lie. We had nowhere to stay and just wanted to get our money back and find a new hotel but the owner was really aggressive and made me cry and would not give us our money back. He eventually did after we threatened to get the police involved as we had no other choice, we were stuck in Turkey with no accommodation. We then had to go round all other hotels in calis trying to find a room available (it was July and high season so many were fully booked) and eventually we found the lovely kerim hotel which I could not recommend more. Our first day of our holiday was therefore really distressing as we thought we had lost our money and had no where to sleep after a long journey, and the owner did not help find us any other accommodation. He also did not apologies once for his error. I have travelled to Turkey for years and have never experienced anything like this before or been treated this way before, the hospitality is always normally fantastic and the people are generally lovely. I don't want anybody else to experience this. Owner seemed lovely to those who had no problems, but be careful if you do.
