Delight Deluxe Boutique Hotel

It was a nice stay at this hotel. Perfect location, very helpful staff, nice atmosphere. For example they brought food from other restaurant to my room, because i came super tired and hungry after long journey. The only thing we were not very excited was breakfast. It was very nice place, but variety and quality could be definitely improved. Everything else in this place was perfect, i think we will come back one day to here.

The location of the hotel is great in a quiet side street of the old town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are designed beautifully. It seems though that some walls and doors are not exactly soundproof, which means enjoying music from the reception all evening and snoring from the neighboring rooms all night. Also it is surprising that the breakfast is served at a restaurant two streets away.

This is a nice and reasonably priced hotel in old town Antalya. Because it’s in the old town the rooms are a bit small so we paid for room 21 with the rooftop balcony which is a very nice place to watch the sun setting over the mountains behind Antalya bay. Beds are comfortable and the decor is sort of modern Turkish. Be aware that breakfast is served in another building a short walk from the hotel but this was nice and the restaurant is lovely. The pool is small and a bit cold and the garden looses the sun around 4pm but it’s good for a dip if you need to cool down. Mostly staff have been more than helpful and courteous. However the night porter is a bit rude and is absent for long periods which is both annoying when you need your room key and a security concern as the reception is open to the street. I saw people coming in and helping themselves to room keys which is worrying as who knows if they are actually guests? Also copies of people’s passports were left on the unattended reception desk. I would hope this will be taken up by management! Unfortunately the hotel could also be a bit better if there was attention to detail in the rooms. Firstly the air con is centrally managed and is set at 18 degrees and a high fan level which is nice when you first arrive but is like a fridge when you are trying to sleep! Getting them to allow you to set the temperature yourself is not easy! The night porter was extremely difficult about this when he did eventually return to his post. Next the overhead bulb in the bathroom had blown and the two light by the mirror are dim making it difficult to shave etc. On top of that the lit shaving mirror did not work and would not stay in position as the bracket is broken so not much use! Lastly the brackets that hold the shower head are too loose so the shower won’t stay in position and falls into the bath or sprays all over the floor! All in all a nice hotel but it lets itself down by not paying attention to the little details that make a stay enjoyable.
