Our apartment unit consisted of a living room and kitchen on the main floor, and sleeping area in a loft. The kitchen has ample counter space, a fridge, microwave, hot water kettle, stove top, and a toaster. For dining there are table and chairs seating 4, as well as dishes and cutlery. This met our needs very nicely!. The bathroom was just fine, though I do want to note a couple things. The bathroom came with two tiny bars of soap which were at their end by the end of our trip. A little more soap would have been nice. But strangely, the hotel does not provide shampoo! . . . so you need to buy your own at one of the many convenience stores in the area. Finally, we did see bugs running around the shower a couple times. I understand this is difficult to control, but still. . . The sleeping area is in the loft, and we found the queen-size bed to be comfortable. The loft area also has the air conditioning unit, which also cooled off the downstairs area over time. But this was in late October... so I'm not sure if the A/C is sufficient in the summer months). One more thing to note: the stairs to the loft are very steep. This is not for people that have difficulty with stairs! The living room area was nice and spacious. However I note that the couch in our room was impossibly uncomfortable (you felt the wood underneath your rear). The hotel advertises satellite TV and free WiFi and indeed, there is Sat TV --- but there were only 2 channels available (we asked for assistance just in case we were doing something wrong), and the TV we had is smaller than the monitor I use on my desktop computer. This didn't bother us much because we were not in Larnaca to watch TV. However, we did need WiFi and that was absolutely hit-or-miss. I don't think we had a reliable connection all the time we were there. (This was not a function of signal strength or the device we were trying to use.) The people at the Alexia were very nice and were always willing to help when they could. The Alexia is a good value for the location and all of what you get, but nevertheless I can only give this establishment an "average" rating because of all the little annoyances (no shampo, bugs in shower, poor WiFi, uncomfortable couch, poor TV service) that simply added up and affected the time we were there. Bottom line: I *would* recommend the Alexia as long as people think it can fit their needs. Despite the annoyances, the Alexia met our needs just fine.
