Not really worth the price

We stayed the past weekend and I don't feel like it's worth the price we paid. After booking there was a misunderstanding in the price and I didn't feel like the receptionist was polite at all. However the manager was nicer and at least showed he cared even if he couldn't honour the price I believed i was told it was. Another odd thing was that I told them what date I booked the room, they said they weren't even open back then. It was just abit weird and unorganised as my booking was in the system so if they were closed..how did I book it? Pros: - I really liked our room and the view we were on the 2nd floor in the block of rooms and we had a very relaxing, clean room. - The breakfast had a good selection of food but it was luke warm but that is quite normal at buffets - location is nice as its a short car ride from paphos city and you have a nice view of the sunset Cons: - we didn't have WiFi in our room, we did bring this up with reception who said they would send someone. We didnt hear about it again and just left it. - they didn't talk to us about any of the facilities, so I had to keep going and asking. I felt like I was a bother to them for asking so much but I just didn't know. - the facilities were basic, the indoor pool/gym looked quite neglected. My husband used the gym and found the treadmill was broken and other equipment wasn't kept in good condition either. Generally I just felt like it was basic. I could get a much nicer experience at different hotel for a cheaper price. I think if you are looking for somewhere nice to sleep close to paphos and spending more time away from the hotel it's good but if you want to spend alot of time using hotel facilities e.g. gym, spa, bar etc..I'd look elsewhere.
